Tepehuano Yarn Paintings
The Tepehauno Indians are a neighboring tribe to the Huichols. Their yarn paintings are strikingly colorful and have a different visual feel to them. They like to use a lot of celestial themes, such as suns, moons, and eclipes. The whole family works on a piece, but the basic design is conceived by the artist that is shown on the painting.
